Out and About in Leek South

Canvassing in King Street last night, and a really friendly reception on the doorstep. Long time chatting to one of the volunteers at Leek Food Bank. Got an insight into Leek people in real difficulty, experiencing real poverty. Met up with a local Green candidate, and chatted about common concerns and issues. A lot of people angry about the sudden emergence of so called ‘Independents’ who, of course, are nothing of the sort.
