We are well underway with our selection of candidates to fight the forthcoming Council Elections, in May of next year.
All applicants attended a rigorous panel interview before being accepted as potential candidates. They then went through further interviews, within specific wards, meeting resident party members, who quizzed them on their personal and professional background, and particular areas of interest.
Experienced Labour Councillors were on hand to give support and advice, it quickly becoming apparent that there was an exceptional range of knowledge and experience throughout the team.
From health to business, from education to planning , it’s becoming clear that we will be fielding an exceptionally strong team, with the determination and ability to fight for the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Staffordshire Moorlands Residents.
